Donor engagement doesn’t happen by chance or overnight. Sufficient time is needed to develop a strategy that addresses the upcoming campaign as well as long-term donor retention.

These include who will be working on the campaign, a realistic timeline, naming policies, updated donor lists, selecting appropriate vendor partners, and leveraging time to close major donors, among others.
