INVESTMENT ADDENDUM - MAY 11, 2022
Both of the revised designs are in the $300,000 budget ceiling, however that is based on no lighting in the centres and the ongoing fees for digital. See below for the cost of lighting additions and ongoing digital fees.
LIGHTING ADDITIONS:
ILLUSTRATION CONCEPT 1: $22,000
The lighting on the “returns” would be $22,000. Please note we would not be proposing the full backlighting option with the revised designs due to the increase in digital.
ILLUSTRATION CONCEPT 2: $18,000
The addition of backlighting would add $18,000.
ONGOING DIGITAL FEES:
ILLUSTRATION CONCEPT 1: $3,100
$755 annually for each of the 4 screens.
ILLUSTRATION CONCEPT 2: $3,200
$3,200 annually for the video wall.
We know financial considerations are important, so we have provided budget ranges to give context to each of the illustrative concepts shown above. These ranges are preliminary. We would work with you in the Discovery Phase to determine final pricing based upon the final design and size, materials chosen, and digital content requirements for your donor engagement centre.

In this illustration, we have allowed for an edge lighting effect that illuminates the angled sections between each panel. However, for an even more dramatic effect, the entire centre could also be fully backlit with LED lighting, which would add $32,000 to this range.

The addition of LED backlighting to the lower portion of this illustration would be $21,000.
Both budget ranges above allow for the development of the design standards for the Donor Recognition Naming Signage. The above budget ranges could be reduced through the simplification of the design.
Depending on budget availability, more aspirational options could be considered for either of the design illustrations. For example, utilizing more of the wall height might be considered, or modifications like additional lighting or even additional digital elements might be considered.
The above budget ranges include the entire Brook Methodology from Discovery through to Implementation. Our flexible and collaborative approach has proven to be very helpful in finding the right balance between your vision, needs and budget.

As noted in the Managing Future Content section, depending on your preferences there are multiple ongoing support, maintenance, and content management options for you to choose from, ranging from $1,200 to $7,000 annually. We would look forward to discussing your needs in more detail to determine if this is required.
LONGEVITY
Our warranty includes 5 years on the digital system hardware; however, to increase longevity we would provide an additional “hot-swap” identical screen as part of the initial project. The architectural and Brook Easy Change portion of the system also has a 5-year warranty; however, they have proven to sustain well beyond the required 10-year lifespan.
PROPOSAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. The following elements are not in scope:
- Structural modifications to wall location(s)
- Required electrical and data to locations on the wall
- Production of naming plaques
- Installation hoarding
2. Proposal pricing is in Canadian Dollars and valid for 90 days.
3. All applicable taxes are extra.
4. Proposal and its contents are confidential.
