Digital media can be extremely effective to create powerful viewer experiences. In the content creation process, you end up with concise, impactful messages that capture people’s attention. But at BrookGlobal, we know that creating emotionally compelling and relevant content is only half of the equation. Updating the content and monitoring the digital systems on which the content is played is also critically important. Below are some cursory thoughts on these crucial activities.
BrookGlobal offers a cloud-based Content Management System (CMS) which allows you to schedule and publish content to your digital system remotely. Content is hosted in the cloud and an internal server is not required. Content is managed through a desktop application called BrightAuthor:Connected but content can also be managed via a typical internet browser. The cost for this cloud-based functionality and hosting fee is $775 annually per digital centre. If the cloud-based CMS is not desired, BrookGlobal is happy to work to implement a solution that works best for you.
The CMS has an internal monitoring tool that allows the user to proactively monitor and troubleshoot the player sending content to the monitor(s). Beyond the CMS and player, we can install additional equipment to monitor the digital monitor itself. This equipment enables an e-alert system which means automatic notifications are sent if trouble is detected, it gives the ability to proactively monitor the health of the monitor(s), and it allows BrookGlobal or the user to perform diagnostics and commands remotely.
BrookGlobal offers a variety of options when it comes to monitoring your digital system to ensure they are communicating your content and to avoid one of the most common challenges with digital communication – blank screens. CONTENT PUBLISHING & SCHEDULING SUPPORT
BrookGlobal can help upload your developed content and publish it to ensure it plays correctly and with the right duration. We can also help schedule special presentations for specific events.
REMOTE TROUBLESHOOTING & DIAGNOSTICS
BrookGlobal technicians have remote access to all pieces of equipment and can perform diagnostics remotely and implement any actionable solutions.
SOFTWARE/FIRMWARE UPDATES
BrookGlobal will ensure all firmware is kept up to date with the latest security patches.
WARRANTY CLAIMS PROCESSING
BrookGlobal can process all warranty claims for any units that have failed and need replacing.
REAL-TIME HARDWARE MONITORING
BrookGlobal technicians perform a weekly check on all devices, review any error logs, check connectivity status, and perform any necessary corrective actions to ensure full functionality. This is a preventative maintenance check to mitigate downtime.
E-ALERTS
BrookGlobal technicians will receive notifications if trouble is detected with a monitor.
ANNUAL ONSITE PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE
BrookGlobal technicians will perform an annual site visit to perform a thorough cleaning inside and out, colour calibration of the monitors, ensure adequate ventilation, check logs and statistics of equipment to ensure full functionality.
