The hospital is the only one in Florida to have consistently earned the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ highest five-star quality rating since the evaluation system launched in 2016.
Sarasota Memorial Hospital Foundation’s forward-thinking approach of “Envisioning the Future – Today” launched a philanthropic endeavor that culminated in a comprehensive and extremely successful donor engagement strategy. BrookGlobal partnered with the visionary Foundation, which recognized the importance of creating a culture of philanthropy. The Foundation worked with Brook to develop a donor engagement strategy that addressed every facet of their donor recognition needs, culminating in a multitude of elegant and creative artistic displays.
A unique, suspended glass and cable design situated directly in front of a floor-to-ceiling window looking out onto a new park, honors those who have contributed to the Envision capital campaign, which made Sarasota Memorial Hospital’s new courtyard tower possible.
On the east side of the lobby, an interactive multi-media presentation is housed within a complementary recognition display that showcases donor names as well as information about Foundation events, trustees, donors and history.
The EPIC (Employee Partners in Caring) Campaign celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2013. In the west courtyard of the complex, distinctive, free-standing sculptures are dedicated to those employees and physicians who have made contributions in the past two campaigns. Benches, patios, trees, planters, street signs and other areas throughout the park have been named for individual employees and departments, and are recognized with tasteful signage that matches the theme of the main engagement system.
