ABOUT THE FOUNDATION:

Founded in 1976, the Health Sciences Centre Foundation provides the funding for compassionate care, innovative research, new clinical research facilities, and cutting-edge technologies. Since its conception, donors have generously donated over $175 million to support the flagship hospital of Manitoba. The Health Sciences Centre Foundation is committed to saving lives and bringing comfort to families throughout Manitoba.

DONOR RECOGNITION CHALLENGES:

The Health Sciences Centre Foundation needed a donor engagement system that not only recognizes and honour donors, but shows the impact of the gifts, celebrates the organization’s history, and incorporates storytelling to engage all stakeholders. 

  • The Foundation did not have a way to recognize donors on an ongoing basis or communicate impact.
  • And lastly, the Foundation needed a way to feature their organization’s rich history and legacy.
  • The Foundation messaging, presence, and mission was lacking throughout the hospital space.
  • The Hospital wanted to rebrand as the hospital for Manitoba, not only Winnipeg.

Health Sciences Centre Foundation’s donor system made possible by the generous contribution of one donor. The system also incorporates storytelling elements to celebrate the impact of philanthropy at HSC and highlight donor, medical staff, and patient stories.
